Not really a template but a full 100% native xt2 track I've been working on.
All my own patches with a loop from computer music magazine.
Written on 16may beta so you'll need that or better to play.

how do you make the drum
how do you make the drum track, you "import" the sliced loop direct in the drum track?
I used a plugin vst audio
I used a plugin vst audio editor by Image Line called Edison which I deleted from the save.
You can slice up beats with it and then drag each slice into the drum track.
You could do this with an external editor too and then load each slice separately
