Lords Of Coding by Kaos Axiom

Another short track done entirely in XT2 as a weird ode to all independent coders and sound programmers.

This time I used  Camel audio software and a couple plugs from the Classic series by KJH and my always present Digitalfishphones.

The voice heard is Mr. Richard Stallman and was taken from a net radio interview that is posted in the internet archive under the Creative Commons  license. I am trying to contact the interviewer and  Mr. Stallman  to prevent any  "legal"  issues even though  it is  free for non-comercial  use like this. I also tried to find some more audio from patch or sound programmers, but nothing came out when searching the web, so it will have to wait for the longer version ;)

I used:

3 instances of Camaleon 5000 (2 pads and one bass)

2 short recordings of my guitar straight into my M-Audio 10-10  soundcard and modified with CamelPhat3 and CamelSpace to get that gritty tone and the ambience, swirls and rythms heard thru the tune.

The Drums are by Microtonic and added a very small amount of CamelSpace and Endorphin.

The voices were chopped and sliced in XT2 to fit a bit with the tempo and made them go thru CamelSpace and CamelCrusher for an Stereo effect.

All instruments go thru at least one Camel FX before going thru minimal mastering at the final output.

   Listen, enjoy and comment.
